PES 2012 sells 1 million units in Latin America

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is a smash-hit in Latin America.  Konami announced today that over one million units have been sold throughout the region.

In celebration of the game's success, the company has decided to re-release the game on April 10th at lower prices for a number for formats.  The lower price will give new fans the opportunity to pick it up and play against friends in the "most authentic" soccer game on the market.

The game's re-release coincides with the soccer season entering its most exciting period.  PES 2012 will allow users to recreate the final stages of the UEFA Champions League competition within the game's exclusive mode.  In addition, PES 2012 is exclusively home to the Copa Santader Libertadores league license, giving fans in South America a chance to play with their favorite league teams.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 will be re-released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC at the new discounted price point which has not been announced.
