PES 2014 not coming to PS4, but PES 2015 is

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 will not be coming to Xbox One or PlayStation 4, but we now know its successor, PES 2015, will at least be released for the latter console.

Responding to fans, the official Pro Evolution Soccer Twitter account confirmed, "PES 2014 will not be released on next-gen consoles but you can expect to see PES 2015 on your PS4."

Naturally, the lack of Xbox One mention resulted in speculation that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 could be exclusive to Playstation 4. Konami wouldn't commit to revealing such a thing but did at least comment on the notion. "We don't really have any information at the moment, but we'll keep you informed."

It's certainly possible that it could be a PlayStation exclusive, given that PES 3 was released exclusively on PlayStation 2, but I don't see that happening with PES 2015. In all likelihood, with all the possible legal ramifications of spoiling things early, Konami is probably just waiting for the official reveal to name the full list of platforms.
