Peter Pan officially joining the Disney Infinity universe

It's official: Tinker Bell will no longer be the sole figure representing the classic Disney film. After serving as the inspiration for Power Discs, INterior Decorations, Townspeople and Toy Box Challenges, it was confirmed today at D23 Expo (along with other exciting news) that Peter Pan himself will finally be welcomed into the Disney Infinity universe as a figure.

We can all thank the community for this one. A few days ago, Toy Box Artists who were invited to Disney Infinity's annual Toy Box Summit had the opportunity to choose who should be added to the franchise as a figure, a decision that would be sanctioned by the development and production teams. In the end, the group finalized their vote for Peter Pan, who will be added to the game roughly a year from now.

Regrettably, Darkwing Duck — who as of late has had a host of supporters lobbying for an official figure — will continue as a Townsperson, unless otherwise confirmed by the team that there are plans to follow through on this much-requested figure pick.
