Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn is almost ready to launch on its final platform, the PlayStation 4, but not before one more beta, that anyone can partake in.
The Phase 2 beta is actually really cool, as it allows you to play as either your PC or PS3 character, if you've previously played the game before on either of those platforms.
Phase 2 of the Beta uses the live game servers, so players can join other PC and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system players and use existing characters in the Beta. New characters and player progress created during this phase can be transferred at the start of the official service that begins with the release on Monday, April 14th. In addition, anybody that pre-orders the game (either the Standard or the limited Collector’s Edition) can join Early Access that begins on Friday, April 11th.
The beta will conclude on Monday at 1am PDT / 4am EST, giving you three full days to enjoy the beta, and get ready for its release. Players who own the PS3 version of the game will automatically get access to the PS4 version.
