Photos of My Really Cute Little Sister

So what’s new from the fun-loving folks in Japan? A PSP title called “My Little Sister Can’t Possibly Be This Cute,” which just launched its official site. So everyone can really see just how cute she really is.

Courtesy of Namco Bandai, meaning that it has a 0.000000001% chance of coming here, the game’s name is read officially as “Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable.” Based off of Dengeki Bunko’s light novel, the series is so popular that it’s even going to be getting its own television anime sometime soon.

The story follows Kyosuke Kosaka, a normal 17-year-old high school student. Kyosuke and his sister haven’t gotten along for years, but this changes when he finds a moe anime DVD case outside his house one day. Turns out it belongs to his sister, Kirino.

Namco Bandai will be using a new visualization technology called “Live2D” to power the game’s expression system which will allow for seemless transitions between character expressions and poses resulting in realtime conversations with Kirino. You can see a sample of the game’s technology at the Live2D official site.
