Pillars of Eternity delayed until 2015

There's good news and bad news. We will start with the bad news, then go into the good news.

Cutting to the chase, the Kickstarter born and raised game Pillars of Eternity has been delayed.

Originally titled Project Eternity, the Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive game will not be releasing this year, but in early 2015. The game recently wrapped up a beta that was available to their Kickstarter backers and evaluated the feedback. What they learned was not only extremely helpful, but has given then the insight they needed to bring the Pillars of Eternity that the fans want.

The delay was probably initiated by the beta feedback, Obsidian needed more time to address everything that the fans brought up. That means that come 2015, the game will be extra polished and will incorportate all the feedback that they recieved.

The good news, there's a Paradox Interactive Publisher sale on Steam.
