The CRPG has remained one of PC Gaming's crown jewels through the years and is one of few genres that still actually belongs to the platform. That said, games like Divinity: Original Sin and this year's Torment: Tides of Numenera made their way to the console crowd, and now Obsidian Entertainment's Pillars of Eternity will be doing the same on August 29th, 2017, as it will release as Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition. The Complete Edition packs in the game's The White March DLC's.

Pillars of Eternity originally released back in March 2015 to the tune of an average Metacritic score of 89. The game is getting a sequel called Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire that recently wrapped up an incredibly successful Fig campaign.
Pillars of Eternity is one of this generation's best RPGs, and it is nothing but a good thing that more people will be able to play it.
