Obsidian Entertainment has finally announced a release window for its fantasy role-playing game Pillars of Eternity, which raised nearly $4 million in crowdfunding in October 2012.
Earlier this month, the developer said that the Kickstarter game, formerly known as Project Eternity, wouldn't launch this spring or summer. It would come "later" to PC, Mac, and Linux.
Now we know that "later" is officially "by winter 2014," according to a Kickstarter update by producer Rose Gomez. "So, look forward to getting your hands on Pillars of Eternity later this year."
"After much discussion and consideration of the poll on our forums, we have decided not to pursue any additional stretch goals," wrote Gomez. "Rest assured that the team is working hard on completing the game and including our current stretch goals."
