Pit People From Castle Crashers Devs Coming in January

The Behemoth, creators of Castle Crashers has had a new game in the works for a while now, and it finally hits Early Access release for Steam and Game Preview for Xbox One on January 13.

Closed betas of the game took place in September and October, and the early access release will be the first public eyes on the game as it closes to full release. The Behemoth states that the game's core gameplay is complete and all that remains is adding extra content to fill out the game.

"We feel that Pit People is at a point where we’ll confidently say there’s more than enough fun, content, variety, value and play-time to keep someone happy […] We won’t sell something unless it meets these standards, so it definitely seems like it is time!  This will also be a good opportunity to monitor the balance in the game and continue getting feedback from the gaming community as we finish up!"

Early Access and Game Preview participants will get a fair chunk of story missions, several world maps (as there is apparently more than one), quests and challenges, as well as a versus mode. The game, as well as the early access, has a multiplayer mode which are available locally and online.

Save $5 and buy the game on Steam for $15 in Early Access on January 13 before it leaves early access.
