PixelJunk Shooter is now on Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux

Double Eleven has helped to bring developer Q-Games' PixelJunk Shooter to PC, Mac, and Linux today. It's available on Steam for a temporary launch price of $6.74.

Players pilot a spacecraft through various cavernous environments to save a group of scientists trapped below. You have to fend off enemies while also manipulating elements like fire and water to solve puzzles.

PixelJunk Shooter debuted on PlayStation 3 in 2009. It features 15 stages and supports local co-op.

U.K.-based Double Eleven has helped with a number of ports, such as bringing Playdead's Limbo to PlayStation Vita.
