Sony Online Entertainment today kicked off the second phase of PlanetSide 2's Operation: Make Faster Game (O:MFG), while also releasing the largest balance update the online free-to-play shooter has ever seen. The second phase of O:MFG includes engineering improvements to the physics systems and a revamped Esamir, but over on the game's forums you can see the massive list of patch notes for today's update.
Among the improvements, you will also notice that Auraximas is in full swing. This holiday event brings tons of winter festivities such as giveaways, holiday inspired items, Marketplace sales, and more. Also, from today until January 8, 2014, you can work on your accuracy by taking out snowmen located through Esamir. Not only will you be rewarded with XP, but you can also earn the "Snowblower" title if you destroy 10 more more snowmen.
