Yesterday, we learned that the closed beta for PlanetSide 2 on PS4 will start on January 20th. However, that's for North America. While the beta is also planned for Europe, it looks like it will be slightly delayed.
Responding to fans on Twitter, Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley confirmed the beta is coming to Europe, but not until SCEE approves the beta submission.
So how long will that take? Smedley couldn't say for certain, but estimates anywhere between two to three weeks after the launch of the North American beta.
@BenMorrow1 2-3 weeks after. This is purely guessing, but an educated guess. don't hold me to this. Wait for the announcement.

SOE says PlanetSide 2 on PS4 will only be available in English in North America, UK, AU, and NX territories, but adds that they are "exploring more countries and languages for launch at a later date." Smedley added on Twitter that this just means the developers "need the testing" and that the "translations aren't ready and the UI for them isn't done yet."
Assuming Smedley is correct in the two or three week estimation, PlanetSide 2's closed beta for PS4 will arrive in other countries sometime in February 2015. As always, we'll continue to monitor the situation and update you should we learn anything more.
