Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is getting microtransactions

One of the biggest appeals of Plants vs. Zombies is the affordable price tag of $39.99. One of the biggest greviances with the game is the amount of time it takes to make any type of progress in terms of collecting costumes and content. The income of coins needed to buy packs is incredibly low.

EA has decided to attempt to fix this issue by offering the chance to purchase coins with money. The claim is that this allows players the choice of playing for their packs or to essentially straight up purchase them.

It's important to remember that there are playlists that block all custom classes and loadouts, which would mean you're not playing with anyone who "paid to win." Truth be told, the whole paid to win argument doesn't really seem to fly here, but that's just my personal opinion. You're
