The early '90s role-playing game Lunar: The Silver Star — launched for Sega CD and later enhanced as Lunar: The Silver Star Story Complete for other platforms — is now available for iOS.
Developer SoMoGa is releasing a mobile version called Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch later this week on the App Store. An exact date or pricing was not given.
The game's story is written by Japanese novelist Kei Shigema, and it follows a boy named Alex, his step-sister Luna, his friend Ramus, and the cat-like Nall on an adventure.
Additional Lunar titles came afterward — Lunar: Eternal Blue for Sega CD in 1995, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete for PlayStation in 2000, Lunar Legend for Game Boy Advance in 2002, Lunar: Dragon Song for DS in 2005, and Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for PSP in 2010.
