Play games online at Alawar.com
Alawar Entertainment, a leading publisher of
casual games for the PC, is offering visitors to its website free access to the
online versions of five of its most popular games. The new online games page at
www.alawar.com allows fans
to enjoy Arctic Quest, Bistro Stars, the original Magic Ball and two releases
starring Snowy the Bear without downloading or installing any game software.
Just click a title to begin playing after a brief loading period. (You might
need to obtain the latest version of Flash or Shockwave.)
The online versions of Alawar’s games contain all
of the eye candy seen in their downloadable counterparts. The frozen tundra of
Arctic Quest, Alawar’s acclaimed inlay adventure, can be viewed in all its
visual splendor. Bistro Stars, a mouthwatering matching game, comes with all the
graphical trimmings. You can bust bricks in full 3D when you choose the original
Magic Ball. And Snowy has lost none of his animated charm in his leap to the
Web.
Each online game features several levels from the
full game. Unlike the downloadable free trial versions, however, no time limits
are imposed. Guests and other people who use the same computer can play the
online games as much as they wish. Visitors can also purchase the full
downloadable version of each title for $19.95 apiece.
