PlayStation 4 Price Cut Coming in Celebration of E3

The Playstation 4 is temporarily getting a price drop in the US just in time for E3 2017.

Sony will drop the price of the standard Slim model from $300 to $250, according to USA Today. This price will hit markets from, June 9 to June 17. There will also be "additional discounts on software and accessories" during the sale. Amazon already sells the Slim at $250, but this new price cut is available at a wider selection of vendors.

In other PlayStation news, the gold-edition PS4 Slim launches the week of June 11. Target is also selling a number of games and consoles, including the gold-edition PS4 Slim, at a discount starting the week of June 11.
