The time has come! Sony is giving us another PlayStation 5 event this coming week and if we had to guess, it’s going to give us the goods. While Sony hasn’t given us any concrete details about what the stream will entail, we have an idea.
After Xbox announced the release date and prices for the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, it seems Sony will follow. While we have no idea what the console will cost, one has to imagine they’re going to try and price the PlayStation 5 at $499 or lower to compete with Xbox.
We’ll also likely get hard release dates on games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales which will be a launch title. It’s expected we’ll also see games that haven’t been revealed yet, both for launch and beyond.
The PS5 stream will be 40 minutes long. It’ll air on YouTube and Twitch at 1PM PT on September 16th. Be sure to check back to GameZone for all the news out of the PlayStation 5 event!
