PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale sales ‘on target with expectations’

Sales for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale are "right on target with expectations", according to Sony.

There's been some perception that the mascot brawler hasn't been selling so well on the PS3 and PS Vita. Earlier this week GfK ChartTrack revealed PlayStation All-Stars debuted in the 38th spot out of 40 games, in order of sales in the UK, during its opening week. Sony hasn't announced official numbers, but this has led to the belief that the game is struggling to move units.

While the sales are on target, we don't yet know what those original expectations are. Sony exclusive titles tend to have a history of having a lot of hype leading up to launch, but failing to sell as well as other platform-specific titles. With that being said, GameZone scored PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale an 8/10, so you should definitely check it out.
