Fans in attendance of this year's PlayStation Experience will have the chance to collect PlayStation Collectible Cards, Sony announced today.
Sony gave away playing cards at last year's event, but this year they are designed more like baseball cards "except with way more aliens, superheroes, mechs, and tentacles." The cards are designed to represent all the different games and franchises coming to PlayStation. Sony also mentions there's another "secret layer" to this collectible game that they can't reveal just yet.
"Let's just say that you'll want to poke your head in every corner of the Moscone West hall to unearth more precious collectibles," Sony hinted.
The first 35 cards of the series will be released at PlayStation Experience in December, but Sony says there are 66 in total if you count the rare and common versions of certain cards. Sony readily admits it'll be "next to impossible" for anyoen to collect them all, but I'm sure someone, somewhere will manage it. Ebay is your friend.
To collect the cards at PlayStation Experience, you simply need to play some games at the event. Sony didn't reveal which booths or events the cards will be given away at, so you'll need to explore the show floor. As for the rare cards, you'll have to figure that one out on your own as well.
The PlayStation Collectible Cards will be in limited supply. For those intrigued, you'll have to attend PlayStation Experience, which will be held in San Francisco on December 5th and 6th. Youc an buy tickets here.
