PlayStation Experience 2016: Sony unveils Wipeout Omega Collection

Crash Bandicoot is not the only game getting the remaster treatment in Sony's lineup. Today at the PlayStation Experience media briefing, Wipeout: Omega Collection was revealed in a brief trailer (seen above) and the classic futuristic racer has never looked better. The last game in the series to release was WipeOut 2048 and was a launch title for the PlayStation Vita.

WipeOut HD and Fury later came to the game via DLC, but the series has been dormant for the last four years. That is about to change. Wipeout: Omega Collection is a bundle of three classic games in the franchise and will release in Summer 2017.
