At E3 last week, Sony announced that open beta for its PlayStation Now streaming service would begin in the United States on July 31. As for the rest of the world, well, we still don't really know. But that could change this August.
Speaking with Metro, SCEE boss Jim Ryan hinted that information regarding a PlayStation Now European launch date could come during Gamescom in August.
"We'll have a chat at gamescom [in late August] and we might be able to talk about that some more then," Ryan said, offering little else on the matter.
Sony is slowly invite more users into the closed beta for PlayStation Now. In fact, I got my invite shortly before E3, but have yet to play around with it in-depth.
