Sony is celebrating the tenth anniversary of its online subscription program PlayStation Plus. What started out as a totally optional service during the PlayStation 3 era has turned into pretty much a necessity starting with the PlayStation 4. If you care about online play and cloud storage, you have to be a subscriber.
But there’s no question that PlayStation Plus has proven to pay for itself in spades very quickly in the form of exclusive discounts and free games. Hundreds of high-quality titles have been given away for PS Plus subscribers in the past decade.
