PlayStation Store finally updated; Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut free for PS Plus

After some lengthy delays, this week's PlayStation Store update is now live — like completely live this time. Sony blamed the unexpected delay on "technical issues that prevented us from getting all of this week's content in place by our usual 2:00pm Pacific timing."

"We are grateful for your patience, and we can't wait until you get your hands on some of this week's amazing new titles," PlayStation Store director Grace Chen added. Some of the titles include TowerFall Ascension for PS4 and Dark Souls 2 for PS3. You can also pre-order Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (March 18) and MLB 14: The Show (April 1).

The update also means PlayStation Plus members can finally get their free game. This week, PS3 and Vita owners are being treated to Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut, a psychological survival adventure that sees you — a masked protagonist — escape from a city ravaged by disease.
