PlayStation Store for PSP closing for good

On March 31, 2016, Sony is finally closing up shop on its original handheld, the PSP. While this does not affect the Vita in anyway, it will make life difficult for any active PSPGo owners. The PSPGo carries no UMD support so making purchases and downloading games directly will not be possible anymore.

Fortunately all is not completely lost as you can still make PSP purchases from the PlayStation Store's official website. You can also install your PSP games onto a PlayStation 3, and transfer them over via USB cable as well.

It's a shame that a handheld with so much potential has faded with barely a whisper about it.
