Most people will have all the standards to run PS VR — a PlayStation 4, a DualShock 4 and most obvious your brand new virtual reality headset. However you will also need the PS4 camera, something many people might not have.
This is quite strange as you would think that the consumer edition of PS VR, which cost $399, would include a camera since it’s a pinnacle piece to run the hardware. But sadly it does, announced through the PlayStation UK twitter account, users will have to purchase the camera separately.

The camera goes for $60, so unless you got the camera when the PS4 launched, you will be ending up paying around $460 for the PS VR. Even though that sounds a little high from the original $399, it is still substantially cheaper than both the $599 Oculus or the $799 HTC Vive.
