Plex available on PS4, PS3 today

Plex, the personal media streaming application, is making its way to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in North America and Latin America – following its debut on the Xbox One.

Plex takes your personal media and, for lack of a better term, hosts it – so you can stream it anywhere you want.

You will be able to stream movies, TV shows, music, photos and home movies directly to your PS4 and PS3. Traditionally Plex is available for free on PC and Mac, it will be available for free on the PS4 and PS3 for now…but don't expect it to be free forever. In the future you will require a Plex Pass to use the app on your PlayStation console. If you want more info head to the FAQ page here.
