Pokemon Bank is officially compatible with Sun and Moon

S**t just got real people...

It's hard to believe that Pokemon Sun and Moon have been out for two months already, and naturally, it means that many trainers all over the world have conquered the Alola League and become the champion of their respective realms. Hell, I'm sure there are a few who've done 2-3 times by now. Gotta try out all of the starters, right? Yes, that includes Popplio.

Anywho, Pokemon Bank, that beautiful little app that has allowed us to transfer Pokemon all from the Gameboy Advance days to the present, is finally compatible with Sun and Moon. Players can transfer Pokemon from X/Y, Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire or the digital re-releases of Red, Blue, and Yellow. It's worth noting that once you move your Pokemon from any of these game to Sun/Moon, they can never go back. So just be sure that you're ready to commit.

To transfer Pokemon from Red, Blue, and Yellow, you have to use Pokemon Transporter. Transporter was Pokemon Bank's companion app that drew your Pokemon from Black/White/2 to be used in X/Y. Also, any trainer that registers a copy of Sun and Moon within Pokemon Bank will receive an exclusive X Crystal called Mewnium Z, which is usable only with the legendary (and incredibly rare) Pokemon, Mew.

There's no doubt that multiplayer online battling just got taken up a few notches with the inclusion of the hundreds of Pokemon that can't be found in Sun/Moon.
