Pokémon creator teams up with SEGA to bring Tembo the Badass Elephant to Xbox One and PS4

You might be surprised to hear this, but the guys that created Pokémon don't only develop Pokémon games. Shocking, I know. One of the last non-Pokemon games that Game Freak created was Harmoknight on the 3DS and it was directed by James Turner.

If you're familiar with that game, then you might recognize some aspects in the Game Freak and SEGA collab game, Tembo the Badass Elephant. Tembo follows a similar side-scrolling mechanic, has similar art and is directed by James Turner. The real question is, will Tembo have a Pokémon level like Harmoknight?

Typically, if you see Game Freak as a developer, you will see the game hit a Nintendo console — not this time. Tembo will be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Check out the reveal trailer above!

Tembo the Badass Elephant will be available this summer as a digital download.
