Earlier this month is was revealed that augmented reality mobile Pokémon game, Pokémon Go, would be entering its beta phase in Japan this month. It appears as though we don't have to wait for beta users to reveal gameplay, as it appears that the first bit of Pokémon Go gameplay has leaked.
The footage allegedly comes from a SXSW conference presentation with Niantic CEO John Hanke. Hanke is not seen in the video, although his voice can be heard (as long as you trust people on the internet to tell the truth).
The video offers further details on the mobile game, like how different kinds of Pokémon can be found across different habitats and that players will have to go to a "variety of places" to catch them all. The video (guided by Hanke) goes on to show catching an Ivysaur before it gets cut off on what "other stuff" you can do.
