Trainers have enjoyed Pokémon Go for quite some time since its release worldwide. From visiting popular places to even private ones, there are no barriers that people won’t cross in order to catch their favorite monsters. Now, Niantic is ready to start a new event in hopes to catch new players.
The new event is called “Equinox and will start on September 22. Players will have the opportunity to earn double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching eggs as you venture into your neighborhood.
Local PokeStops and Gyms will offer special 2 km Eggs that could hatch into special Pokémon like Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar and more. The in-game shop will have a new batch of items like Lucky Eggs, Lure Modules, and all-new Super Incubators which hatch Eggs 1.5 times quicker. Be sure to visit them while the event lasts.
The event will last until October 2 at 1:00 P.M PDT.
