Pokemon have had it with turn-based combat in this hysterical video

The basic theory of turn-based combat in JRPGs is that it breaks battles down into bite-sized bits, favoring slow-based strategy over frenetic action. And in a lot of ways, it works; but that doesn’t make it seem any less silly when you take a step back and realize you’re watching two lines of people take turns slapping each other.

In this video from YouTuber Shippiddge, Charmander and Bulbasaur express how tired they are of that silliness … by shivving a Caterpie.

Not exactly the free-roaming Pokemon action game so many are pining for, is it?
