Temtem, the interesting Kickstarter success that takes a lot of inspirations from the Pokemon series, is out now on PC. The game is currently only available on Steam Early Access where you can get it for $34.99. Watch the launch trailer here!
The Pokemon franchise has established itself not only as one of Nintendo’s premier IPs throughout its decade-long successful life but it’s one of the world’s most popular entertainment brands, period. Seeing that, it’s even more interesting that there are so few similar games out there. Especially since the Pokemon games are firmly entrenched on Nintendo’s systems.
Temtem is exactly trying to do this. By aiming to come out on every gaming platform out there, gamers across the whole spectrum will be able to experience the thrill of collecting and fighting their monsters – or Temtem as they are called in the game. At the moment, Temtem is only available on PC but the developer plans to release the game on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in the future.
Early impressions are favorable and keeping in mind how the Pokemon fanbase has grown somewhat tired and even angry at Game Freak’s recent games, Temtem has the chance to establish itself as a real viable alternative. The ambition is here at the least, with gorgeous visuals and a vast multiplayer suite besides a single-player portion.
