The last time we saw a sales count from The Pokémon Company, it said that three days after its release (November 21) Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sold over three million copies world wide.
Since the figure of three million copies sold, we heard that the UK loves Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and hasn't been able to get enough of the game (they even had the most pre-orders for it too).
While there was no number of sales given Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire combined outsold X and Y by 17%. Today, The Pokémon Company has revealed that since the European launch they shipped out 7.7 million copies of game worldwide. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have outsold Pokémon X and Y by a whopping 35%. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sappire have been recieving some pretty good scores, so, high sales isn't a surprise.
It should be noted, however, that shipments of game copies are not game sales.
