Pokemon Sun and Moon will be getting its own manga series

It's a great time to be a Pokemon fan. With the massive popularity of Pokemon GO and the opening of an all new generation, Pokemon fans are abuzz with anticipation, conspiracy theories and searching out all the leaks they can get their hands on. Who likes being surprised by your starter's final evolution anyway?

With the anime getting to the end of Ash's journey in Kalos, Nintendo has been prepping for everything Alola and one of those things are the announcement of the much expected, but still very cool Pokemon Sun and Moon manga series.  The company made the announcement on the official Pokemon Twitter page, which was translated by Serebii.

Here's the tweet:

The first issue will release on September 15, 2016, and will be produced by CoroCoro Comics. The manga will feature an all new trainer beginning his journey alongside his partner, Rockruff. In case you've forgotten what Rockruff looks like, here it is.
