Pokemon: Symphonic Evolutions tour dates and locations announced

With tours for famous franchises like Final Fantasy with famed composed Nobuo Uematsu, or even compilation tours like Video Games Live courtesy of Tommy Tallarico, I'm surprised that a Pokemon Symphony hasn't happened sooner.

Announced today, Pokemon: Symphony Evolutions will allow fans, both old and new, to relive some of their greatest Pokemon moments through re-orchestrated tracks from nearly every major Pokemon game, such as:

• Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Yellow
• Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, Pokémon Crystal
• Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, Pokémon Emerald
• Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, Pokémon Platinum
• Pokémon Black and Pokémon White
• Pokémon X and Pokémon Y

The Pokemon Symphony will kick off its tour on August 15th in Washington DC, and then head to Philadelphia on Steptember 19th. So far, those two are the only locations confirmed, with more locations to be announced soon.

Fans can visit the Official Site for more information on dates and locations.
