Nearly one year after Pokkén Tournament was revealed as an exclusive Japenese arcade game, we finally have confirmation that the arcade fighter will be coming to the United States of America. The fighting game originall underwent location testing between January and February in Lazona Kawasaki and Namco Umeda, Japan.
The Senior Vice President of Dave & Busters, Kevin Bachus, has revealed that the restaurant will be a testing location for Pokkén Tournament during a Reddit AMA. They have yet to announce which locations anf when the popular chain will be testing the games, but at least we known it's coming.
The game itself isn't using typical arcade controls, it's using a controller with a D-pad and buttons, you can check out the controller here. Pokkén Tournament officially released this month in Japan and has eight confirmed fighters Lucario, Machamp,Suicune, Gardevoir, Pikachu, Gengar, Weavile, and Charizard with additional support characters Emolga, Fennekin, Snivy, Frogadier, Eevee, Lapras, Whimsicott and Jirachi, with more to follow.
