Although Gran Turismo 6 was announced only as a PlayStation 3 exclusive — somewhat of a disappointment for those getting a PS4 later this year — Polyphony Digital president Kazunori Yamauchi has said that the company has a PlayStation 4 version in mind.
"We actually do have a PS4 version in mind," Yamauchi told OPM, although he didn't say much more on the matter. This is the second time Yamauchi has mentioned the possibility of a PS4 version. Speaking to IGN back in May, he said the exact same thing but said it "would be best for users to release on PS3 for now."
For now though, PS4 owners will have to make do with Driveclub, a new racing IP from Evolution Studios that puts emphasis on team based racing. A "free" version of the game will actually be offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers, but will be "missing a few assets."
