Popular JRPG series, Shining will be releasing a ‘stunning’ 2D Fighting game later this month on PC

Studio Sainzensen, in tandem with publisher Degica Games, has announced that they will be launching Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena, a stunning 2-D Fighting Game with characters from the popular JRPG series, Shining later this month on July 28th, 2016. The game will be priced at a very reasonable, $29.99 and will come with a 20% launch discount.

Here's the official description of the game per the studio's official Press Release:

The world controlled by blade, magic and fist…Fighters of diverse goals and backgrounds gather for battle…Blade Arcus from Shining Battle Arena is a massive 2D fighting game, developed by Studio Saizensen, featuring characters from the Shining series.

Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena will use a tag-team mechanics where players will select both a primary and secondary character. This will allow them to switch characters between rounds and set up something called “Link Attacks”, where both characters will combine to unleash deadly combinations on opponents.

Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena is currently a PC exclusive, and there is no word as to whether or not the game will ever make its way to consoles.
