Portal-based DLC coming to Rocket League tomorrow

Since its release in July, Rocket League has had no shortage of fun DLC. From Halloween to Christmas to post-apocalyptic, there's been new content covering just about everything. And now more is on the way. Looking to get in on the cars-meets-soccer fun, it appears Valve has teamed with developer Psyonix to incorporate new Portal-themed content in the game.

All of the new items will be free and will auto unlock when you complete matches on a random basis. The items include:

  • Aperture Laboratories antenna
  • Cake sticker
  • Companion Cube
  • Personality Core
  • PotatOS antennas

You will also be able to manipulate your vehicle's trail into beige, orange or blue for conversion, propulsion and repulsion colored Portal gels respectively. All of the items are free beginning tomorrow, December 1st and there is no timetable listed, indicating that they are most likely permanent items.

Rocket League also has Christmas-based items and new DLC maps/events launching in December as well.
