Portal songwriter returns for Lego Dimensions

Lego Dimensions drops tomorrow and brings with it piles of great franchises, including Valve’s classic Portal, whose character set will feature Chell and GLaDOS.

The new set will also debut a new song from Jonathan Coulton, who also penned the lyrical themes from Portal and Portal 2.  You Wouldn’t Know, voiced by Ellen McLain, offers up all the side-eye wit of GLaDOS and name drops Batman and others.

Elaborating on the song, Coulton explains, "(At) the end of Portal 2 is kind of a break-up song. 'Forget it, I’m done with you.' In this song we find GLaDOS with a personality change and with some new friends. It's more, 'Don’t worry about me. Everything is great. I’m having a good time here, but you wouldn’t care about that.' It’s a post-breakup song. I think her fear is Chell has forgotten about her completely."

Lego Dimensions comes out tomorrow, September 27th along with the Portal set.
