After around 16 individuals received packages from the No Man's developer, Hello Games, and deconstructed the hidden messages buried inside of their contents, Hello Games has finally come out to talk about them and the next update for No Man's Sky.
The loyal No Man's Sky community was right about the packages, they contained details hinting at portals making their way to the game and now, No Man's Sky creator and Hello Games co-founder, Sean Murray, has openly confirmed it.
This week, Update 1.3, called Atlas Rises, will be bringing improvements to the central story of No Man's Sky and will add the ability to quick travel between locations using portals.
No further details on the patch have been revealed, however, with today marking the one year anniversary of No Man's Sky release, Murray detailed that it's "been an exciting, intense and emotional year" for Hello Games and while they "have been quiet" they "have been listening intently."
Patch notes on Atlas Rises will be available closer to the update's release.
