Post-Apocalyptic train survival game, The Final Station releasing this week

Post-apocalyptic worlds are nothing new to the gaming space. If anything, you could argue that they are overdone. The trick now for a developer is coming up with ways to keep their world from blurring in with all of the others and The Final Station's developer Do My Best thinks they have a solution. The game's key hook is that you are a train conductor, moving your locomotive down the rails from one station to the next in a world that has died off. Your task is to keep your train moving, and any survivors you pick up, alive.

As you stop at each station, you get out and search for survivors while fending off the infected horde. Each station is your only hope for survival, as they are the only means of accruing additional supplies and survivors.

The Final Station will release in full this week on August 30th, 2016 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and if you plan on getting the game on Steam, you can take advantage of a 20% pre-order discount over the next 2 days. For more on The Final Station, head over to the game's Steam page.
