It seems about once a week now we get some sort of Power Rangers film reveal and this week we get a look at the newest redesign of the Rangers' Power Coins.
All five of the movie coins, as well as the toy morpher and coins were revealed earlier today. They look surprisingly normal, especially compared to the other new designs like Goldar who resembles a cheddar cheese mold. In the trailer for the Power Rangers, you see the power coins embedded in the rock before they are blown out by the explosion. In it, it appears something is inside of them but we can't make out what. These new images show that nothing is inside, but rather an image of each of the Ranger's Zord animal contained as part of the coin itself.
You can see all five below, including the toy morpher. So far, we have had a look at the new design of Rita, Goldar, Alpha-5 and the Zords, but have yet to see Zordon, Bulk, Skull, Squat, Baboo and the actual morphing sequence. Power Rangers hits theaters on March 24th, 2017, so we should be getting another trailer quite soon.
