Aren't we glad to be past that phase in our lives where we had to deny that Power Rangers are cool, because thinking they're cool wasn't cool? With yearly Power Ranger conventions (attended by adults) and special edition collectibles (bought by adults), it's a fact that these multi-colored super heroes are a part of our culture. Not to mention, this year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Power Rangers in the US.
The newest season, Power Rangers Megaforce will begin airing starting February 1st, and will be based on Japanese Super Sentai, Tensou Sentai Goseiger.
When the evil Warstar aliens attack Earth, the supernatural guardian Gosei and his faithful robot assistant Tensou recruit five teenagers with attitude to combat the invading forces. Equipped with powers that grant them mastery over martial arts and other forms of combat, the teenagers transform into the latest champions of good: The Power Rangers Megaforce.
