Power Gig: Rise of the SixString Setlist Now Available

The rhythm game genre is no stranger to the “me too” mentality; we saw that with Konami’s awful, straight-to-the-bargain-bin “Rock Revolution” game (the only revolution it made was when it spun flying out of my window). Therefore, Power Gig: Rise of the SixString is no doubt a title that rhythm game fans are approaching with some grain of salt, considering three key points: a) the game is the first in a new IP, b) the developer (Seven45 Studio) is unproven in the rhythm game space, and c) it doesn’t have the words “Guitar”, “Hero”, “Rock”, or “Band” in the title.

That said, looking at the game’s official track list, which Seven45 just released today, some fears are definitely assuaged. The game tracklist boasts an impressive amount of artists, many of which are making their debut in the rhythm game genre (80 percent, if the press release is to be believed). Not only that, but there are a lot of great guitar driven songs on this list, from bands like Mastodon, A Perfect Circle, and Eric Clapton. Check out the official setlist below:
