Mega Man Legends has been an oft requested PS1 classic for Sony consoles for quite some time now. And what do you know, it actually paid off. Capcom's GregaMan has been killing it with announcing a lot of fan requested games, like Dragon's Dogma, which is finally coming to PC, and yesterday he announced that Mega Man Legends will finally be available on PSN.
And so it is my privilege to confirm that next Tuesday, September 29th, you will be able to purchase the precocious PS1 classic, Mega Man Legends, on the North American PlayStation Store. The game will be $9.99, which is considerably lower than the game's going rate on the likes of eBay. I hope you'll agree with me that it is well worth it to finally see this game available again.
That's pretty amazing! I personally remember love playing the game back on my PS1 while a buddy of mine had the N64 version. Will I still love it today? Who knows, but I'm definitely dropping the $10 asking price. Look out for the game on September 29th.
One important thing to note, that unlike previous PS1 Classics, Mega Man Legends will only work on the PS3 and Vita, not the PSP. If you're still rocking one of those, you unfortunately won't be able to indulge in the Blue Bomber's first 3D adventure.
Now how about resurrecting that Mega Man Legends 3 back from the dead Capcom? At this rate, it seems all too possible (it's not).
