Pre-purchase a Steam Controller or Steam Link and get two games free

Valve and Psyonix have teamed up to bring PC gamers a deal they can't deny (unless they already own the games, then they really can deny it). Early adopters of either the Steam Controller or Steam Link will receive a free copy of Rocket League and Portal 2 (not one or the other, both).

I know, amazing (unless you have these games, then what the incentive?!). If you have yet to experience Rocket League, you're in for an addictive awakening — even if you don't like sports games. This is a game that puts you on one of two teams with a customizable rocket boosted car and a giant ball to throw in the opponent's goal, that alone should be a description that wins you over (or not, I didn't describe it very well).

Pre-purchasing the Steam Link or Steam Controller for $49.99 a piece will save you about $37.98 in games (Rocket League is currently $17.99 and Portal 2 is $19.99). So which should you pre-order? Well, the Steam Controller has dual trackpads, HD haptic force actuators, dual triggers and a fully-customizable control scheme and the Steam Link pulls up your Steam games on any TV in your house, as long as it's connected to your home network.

Oh, and the offer ends on Saturday.
