Sure, Arnold Schwarzenegger has slammed the Predator sequels, but that doesn't mean that Fox won't be continuing their efforts with the Predator reboot. In fact, the Predator reboot is going to be a 'spectacle' solely based on how much money Fox is willing to throw at the project.
According to a report from Agence France Presse (via AVP Galaxy & GameSpot), reboot director Shane Black has confirmed that the Predator reboot will enter filming "in the latter part of the fall–September, October."
In addition to that, Black reiterated that Fox still plans on throwing tons of money at the film, suggesting a $50 – $60 million budget. To the best of my knowledge, the train is rolling," said Black. "It took some convincing because they’ve been putting out these movies all along with a $50-60 million budget, and they all had a guaranteed return.”
The cast for the film has not yet been confirmed.
