Predicting the 2014 All-Star Game with MLB 14: The Show

Tomorrow, Major League Baseball's biggest and brightest stars will meet on the diamond of Minnesota's Target Field for the 2014 All-Star Game. If Sony's MLB 14: The Show simulation of tomorrow's Midsummer Classic is correct, then the game could be headed to extra innings.

After blown opportunities in the closing innings, the simulation predicted the game to head into extra innings at a 3-3 tie. In the top of the 10th inning, it's predicted that Cincinatti Reds' Todd Frazier will hit a two-run home run to give the NL a 5-3 lead and an eventual win. Check out the video below to see how the simulation played out.

If correct, this would be the first time an All-Star game has went into extra innings since 2008. The American League ended up winning that game 4-3 in 15 innings, giving the home field advantage to the American League. It was also the longest MLB All-Star Game in history at 4 hours and 50 minutes.

The MLB All-Star game will be played tomorrow night at 8:00pm ET on FOX.
