PlayJam, the creator of GameStick, has announced a partnership with Ubisoft that will allow the developer/publisher to bring its Prince of Persia to the portable TV games console.
Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame is an HD remake of Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow of the Flame, which was originally released in 1993. The HD remake was released last year for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. The game is described as a "pick up and play, smooth adaptation of an epic classic easy to handle but challenging to master."
In it, you play as the Prince who must overcome odds again to save his Princess and kingdom. Gameplay involves exploring deadly areas by running, jumping, crawling, avoiding traps, and solving magic potions.
“We have been following GameStick´s progress with keen interest since launch earlier this year,” said Frédéric Peltier, Business Development Manager at Ubisoft. “We feel this device and its target market presents an exciting opportunity to further broaden access to our games.”
Prince of Persia The Shadow and the Flame will be available later this year on the GameStick store.
